Description of the sight

The constructivist building appeared at the foot of Vladimirskaya Gorka in the center of Kyiv in 1982. It housed the Kyiv branch of the Central Lenin Museum. Currently, the national exhibition center "Ukrainian House" is located here, on the basis of which exhibitions, conferences and other events are held. From 2004 to 2012, the exposition of the Museum of the History of Kyiv was temporarily located here, which was "evicted" from the Klovsky Palace, and now occupies a new building on the street. B. Khmelnitsky. Since 2007, the Tourist Information Center (TIC) has been opened in the "Ukrainian House", which provides free information about the tourist sites of the capital, about leisure in Kyiv and the region, announcements of cultural events, all-Ukrainian exhibitions and festivals. Also in the TIC, those who wish can order excursions around the city and the suburbs, purchase local history literature, booklets and photo albums, guides, cartographic and souvenir products.
