If you are traveling by car, drive in the direction of Kremenets, entering the city immediately after the sign "Kremenets" turn left and drive in this direction for about 8 km. in the village of Onishkovtsy. On the way, you can stop at God's Mountain, and then go to St. Anne's Lake by another road, cutting a little.
Description of the sight
The source of the holy righteous Anna is a small consecrated bath located in the village of Onishkovtsy in Ukraine. The water from the spring is famous for its unique healing properties, and the bath itself attracts many pilgrims and tourists. The origin of the source dates back to the 17th century, and its appearance is associated with many legends and traditions. The water from the bath has always been famous for its healing effect. During the Soviet era, the source was destroyed and concreted, but the water still washed its way. Today, a chapel and a small church of St. Anna, painted in sky blue colors. The water in the bath, regardless of the time of year, has a temperature of about 5 degrees Celsius, but people come here to take a dip in both summer and winter. Saint Anna is the patroness of all mothers, so the bath attracts primarily pregnant women, as well as girls who want to conceive a child. The flow of pilgrims to the source only increases from year to year, and the bath itself is considered one of the most important shrines of Ukraine.
