Description of the sight
The park was founded in 1964 on the territory of the Dnepropetrovsk National University on Gagarin Avenue. Dnepropetrovsk Park named after Yuri Gagarin is the territory of the University campus on Gagarin Avenue. The park gradually descends from Gagarin Avenue to the Krasnopovstancheskaya beam, runs along Kozakova Street. Previously, the park had many attractions, gazebos, sandboxes. Now most of the park is just green spaces, mostly neglected. A memorial sign to the victims of fascism is installed in the park.
