If you are in Tatariv or Mykulychyn, you need to take one of the scheduled buses and drive for 10-15 minutes. Ask the driver to stop at the turn to Hooke. Then follow the sign through the railway tracks, and follow yourself further for an hour and a half.
Description of the sight
The Guk waterfall, which is located in Yaremche, was named by the locals because of the noise that this miracle of nature conveys to them. By the way, in the Carpathians, almost every third waterfall is named after this name, because its noise spreads far beyond the location of a natural miracle. Huk is considered one of the largest waterfalls in the Carpathians. The waterfall is located at an altitude of about 900 meters above sea level. It was formed in the post-war period as a result of severe flooding, which affected the entire region. The water here falls from a height of 15 meters, scattering drops on nearby lush areas. The vegetation in these places is very rich and is represented by white tar, marsh forget-me-not, Robertova geranium, city gravel, marsh belozero and other plants. On the way to the waterfall you can meet Carpathian squirrel, fox, spotted salamander and other Carpathian animals.
