Description of the sight

National Revival Park (former name: Komsomolsky Park) is a park in Ternopil, located between the Vostochny and Solnechny microdistricts. The National Revival Park has about 60 species of trees and bushes. Among them: horse chestnut, ash-leaved maple, downy and warty birch, Berlin poplar, Canadian, pyramidal, white willow, Babylonian, goat, prickly and common spruce, Japanese crimson, walnut, various types and forms of arborvitae, juniper, spirea, cypress. Residents of the most massifs - Vostochny, Solnechny, Yubileiny and the 10th microdistrict love to relax in this park. The first Singing Field in Ukraine was built here. Its stage is designed for 1200 artists. Five thousand spectators are accommodated in the amphitheater, the same number - on viewing platforms. The singing field was opened in June 1986 during the 1st Republican holiday of folk art, which took place in Ternopil. The park has attractions, children's and sports grounds, a tennis court, a fountain. From a bird's eye view, Ternopils admire their city with the help of a Ferris wheel (20m high).
