Description of the sight
Peresyp is a district of Odessa, which is located on the embankment - a sandy-shell spit that separates the Kulyanitsky and Khadzhibeevsky estuaries from the Black Sea. The first mark of the Peresyp region on the map of Odessa dates back to 1919. From 1820 to 1830, the area along the Black Sea coast was actively built up. At the moment, the Peresyp district is the hub of the largest industrial enterprises in Odessa. The ZOR agricultural equipment plant, leather substitute plant, sugar refinery, Odeskabel plant, paint and varnish plant, Bolshevik linoleum plant and oil depots are located here.
