Description of the sight
The most beautiful and very unusual fountain "Sphere" is located on the Sicheslavskaya embankment in the city of Dnipro, in Ukraine. This fountain is one of the "youngest" in the city, it was opened in 2007. Initially, this fountain was mounted on the observation deck of Shevchenko Park, but it did not take root there due to strong winds. Citizens often call this fountain a “ball” or “dandelion”, which, of course, it owes to its shape. At night, the "Sphere" glows with a soft yellow light, and a beautiful view of the Dnieper, framed by two bridges - the Old and the New, opens nearby. Near the "Sphere" is always cool, even on very hot days, so it attracts the townspeople. By the way, right next to the fountain is one of the universities of Dnepropetrovsk and therefore students and city youth in general often gather near it. In addition, "Sphere" is a place for gathering and training of skateboarders.
